Де що експерементував, творив та виготовляв нові, дійшов до 500-ої ложки, а все ще попереду...

Українські ложки з верби / Ukrainian spoons of willow

У минулому українці користувалися, переважно, дерев'яними ложками, які виготовляли майстри — «ложкарі». У селянській сім'ї їли з однієї миски, але кожен мав свою ложку зі спеціальною позначкою. Страву несли з миски, підкладаючи під ложку хліб. Виделки майже не використовували. Згодом її витіснили вироби з алюмінію, нержавіючої сталі та пластику, але вона все одно залишається незамінною в багатьох ситуаціях...

Ложки "Різдвяна Зірка" / Spoons of "Christmas Star"

Зірка — традиційний атрибут різдвяного обряду колядування. На Бойківщині та Гуцульщині «зірку» називали також вертепом. Сьогодні, різдвяна зірка - атрибут пов'язаний з євангельською легендою про Христа, чудесне народження якого провістила «Вифлеємська зірка». Зірка — значно давніший символ зимових свят і увійшла в культуру пра-українців задовго до прийняття християнства. Первісно вона була символом самого Сонця, яке починаючи з 25 грудня, повертає на весну або воскрешає, аби дати природі шанс на нове плідне життя. Тому зірку лаштували так, аби вона оберталась. Цим Зірка нагадувала сонцеворот протягом року. Зірка - символ Сонця, отже, вогню і тепла.

Star - a traditional attribute of the Christmas rite of caroling. In the Boykivshchyna and Hutsulshchyna the "star" was also called a "nap". Today, the Christmas star is an attribute associated with the gospel legend of Christ, whose miraculous birth was foretold by the Bethlehem Star. The star - a much older symbol of the winter holidays and entered the culture of pre-Ukrainians long before the adoption of Christianity. Originally, it was a symbol of the Sun itself, which, starting December 25, returns to spring or resurrects, to give nature a chance for a new, productive life. That is why the star was arranged so that it turned. This Star resembled a sunshine during the year. The star is a symbol of the sun, hence fire and heat.

Хороші мисливські трофеї потребують гарного оформлення та оригінальних тематичних різьблених медальйонів. Медальйон прикрашають - декоративне різьблення елементів рослинності: гілки, листя, жолужі й т.п. та щит для інформації про трофей. Тоновані й покриті лаком прикрашають інтер'єр вдалого мисливця...

Дошки для пряників / Gingerbread boards

Здавна на свята пригощали різними солодощами. Пряники вважали улюбленими ласощами. Колись до свят спеціально випікали різні пряники. Наприклад, до Нового року випікали пряники у вигляді птахів і звірів. Ці ласощі служили їстівними прикрасами новорічних ялинок. До весняних свят випікали жайворонків, як символ природи, що пробуджується. Пряники прикрашали складними візерунками, дарували до свят.

Печатні пряники виготовляли з допомогою дерев'яної форми - пряникової форми (дошки). Пряникова форма - це дошка, вирізана з деревини певних порід, з вирізаним в ній зворотним рельєфом (контррельєфом). Чим глибше контррельєф, тим об'ємніше та товше буде пряник. Майстри при виготовленні пряникових дошок віддавали перевагу клену, горіху, груші, березі, липі. Майстер, ріжучий пряникову дошку, повинен досконало володіти прийомами виїмчастої різьби. До того ж йому необхідно володіти просторовою уявою, щоб представляти, як буде виглядати малюнок після відбитка на тісті. Традиції старих майстрів не забуті і в наші дні. Наші печатні пряники - яскраве тому підтвердження.

For example, until the New Year, the gingerbread was baked in the form of birds and animals. These delicacies served edible decorations of Christmas trees. Before the spring holidays, the lizards were baked like a symbol of awakening nature. Spice-cups were decorated with intricate patterns and were given to holidays.

Printed gingerbreads were made using a wooden shape - a gingerbread form (board). Spice-shaped form is a board cut from wood of certain breeds, with a reverse relief carved in it (counter-relief). The deeper the counter-relief, the thicker and thicker will be the carrot. Masters in the manufacture of gingerbread boards preferred maple, nut, pear, shore, lime. The master, cutting the gingerbread board, must master thoroughbred carvings thoroughly. In addition, he needs to have a spatial imagination to represent how the picture will look after the imprint on the dough. Traditions of old masters are not forgotten even today.
