Вибійка "Набір з Алатиром" / Vybiyka Set with Alatyr

Традиційно, вибійка – це декорування тканини шляхом друку на полотні різноманітних візерунків і орнаментів за допомогою спеціальних дерев’яних кліше. Здавна ця техніка дозволяла зробити тканину, цікавішою, оригінальнішою, нанести будь-який малюнок, менш трудомістким способом ніж, наприклад, вишивка. Й чудовим елементом бибійки є древній символ Алатир. Споконвіку, наші Пращури використовували восьмикутну зірку як універсальний оберіг у своєму побуті. У кожній хаті на Святвечір стояв Алатир - він беріг мешканців і відганяв лихо від оселі. У слов'ян існує легенда про біл-горюч камінь "Алатир", наділений чарівними властивостями.

Traditionally, a beater is a decoration of fabric by printing various patterns and ornaments on canvas with the help of special wooden cliches. This technique has long allowed to make the fabric more interesting, original, to apply any pattern, in a less time-consuming way than, for example, embroidery. And a wonderful element of the bib is the ancient symbol Alatir. From time immemorial, our ancestors used the octagonal star as a universal amulet in their lives. In every house on Christmas Eve there was Alatyr - he took care of the inhabitants and drove the disaster away from the house. The Slavs have a legend about the white-burning stone "Alatir", endowed with magical properties.

Вибійка "Квіти" / Vybiyka Flowers

Споконвіку шанують в Україні квіти. Нема жодної української хати, біля якої дбайливі руки господині не влаштували б яскравих квіткових острівців. Вони милують око, ніжно хвилюють душу, міцно прив’язують наші серця до рідної домівки.

Наші предки обожнювали квіти, вважаючи, що цей витвір природи даровано людям від Бога. Квіти — постійні супутники нашого життя. Вони — на клумбах, у кімнаті, на газонах. Вони на вишиваних рушниках, скатерках. Ними розмальовують печі, стіни осель. А ще квіти є на нашому національному одязі. Квіти на плахті й корсетці символізують доброту, щирість душі. Квіти на рукавах сорочки оберігають від хвороби, злого ока.

Flowers have been revered in Ukraine since ancient times. There is not a single Ukrainian house near which the caring hands of the hostess would not arrange bright flower islands. They are pleasing to the eye, tenderly touch the soul, and firmly bind our hearts to our home.

Our ancestors adored flowers, believing that this work of nature was given to people by God. Flowers are constant companions of our lives. They are in flower beds, in a room, on lawns. They are on embroidered towels, tablecloths. They paint stoves, walls of houses. And there are flowers on our national clothes. Flowers on a sheet and a corset symbolize kindness, sincerity of soul. Flowers on the sleeves of the shirt protect against disease, the evil eye.
