Державний Герб України — герб держави Україна, один із чотирьох її офіційних символів поряд з прапором, гі́мном і Конституцією. 19 лютого 1992 затверджено Малий Державний герб України. Конституцією також передбачений і Великий Державний герб, однак досі його не прийнято. Центральною геральдичною фігурою герба є Тризуб Володимира І Святого, Великого князя Київського, володаря Русі. Окрім цього, згідно з Конституцією України, елементом Великого герба мусить бути герб Війська Запорозького.
15 липня 2009 року Кабмін затвердив проект Великого Державного Герба України. Він включав зображення Малого Герба у центрі, по боках від нього - фігури лева і запорізького козака, знизу - синьо-жовта стрічка, а зверху - княжа корона. На жаль, у проекті залишилася низка помилок і неточностей. Тому його так і не було внесено на розгляд Верховної Ради України.

On July 15, 2009, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft of the Great State Emblem of Ukraine. He included the image of the Small Emblem in the center, on the sides of it - the figures of the lion and Zaporizhzhya Cossack, the bottom - blue and yellow tape, and on the top - the princely crown. Unfortunately, the project left a series of errors and inaccuracies. Therefore, it was never introduced to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
