Громовик або Громове колесо - язичницький шестипелюстковий символ вписаний в колесо, народний оберіг слов'ян, символ Перуна - бога грому і блискавки, граду, небесного вогню і дощу. Також являє собою і семи- або восьмипелюсткову розетку. Є одним із різновидів солярних знаків та зберігся до наших днів завдяки археологічним та етнографічним матеріалам. Зустрічається майже в усіх індоєвропейських культурах і не тільки. В римлян та кельтів він мав назву - Колесо Юпітера. Громовик символізує небесні стихії: Небо, Сонце, Вогонь, Грім, Блискавку, Дощ. Також є припущення, що цей знак є позначенням кульової блискавки...
HROMOVIK or Thunder Wheel - a pagan six-petalled symbol inscribed in the wheel, the folk amulet of the Slavs, the symbol of Perun - the god of thunder and lightning, hail, celestial fire and rain. Also represents a seven- or eight-petalled rosette. It is one of the varieties of solar signs and has survived to this day thanks to archaeological and ethnographic materials. Occurs in almost all Indo-European cultures and beyond. The Romans and Celts called it the Wheel of Jupiter. The HROMOVIK symbolizes the celestial elements: Sky, Sun, Fire, Thunder, Lightning, Rain. There is also an assumption that this sign is a symbol of ball lightning.
