Цим ключем міцно замикали не тільки матеріальне, а й все духовне багатство людини. Мотив замикання, а звідси ключ і замок, в першу чергу стали використовувати в древніх обрядах охоронної магії. В основі - природне сприйняття замку і ключа як предметів, що забезпечують захист. Ключі широко використовували як амулет ще етруски і стародавні єгиптяни...
